When I taught beginning clarinet it seemed like most of the easy solos were of limited musical value. I began finding art songs and arranging them for clarinet and piano. I also arranged some piano works for clarinet and piano and the themes of larger works like a Haydn symphony. I wanted to introduce my students to the great composers of the past.
Then I began making these arrangements for flute, alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet, trombone and baritone. Most of them can be found using this link.
